The world’s greatest restaurant festival returned to London last weekend (16th – 19th November) and we, being the foodies that we are, were naturally there to experience it.

Taking place at East London’s Tobacco Dock in Wapping, the annual Taste of London, if you have never been before, sees a selection of London’s best restaurants and world-leading chefs come together to show the food lovers of London what they can do. Offering sampling of signature small-plate dishes and live demonstrations, the show certainly did not disappoint.

From mouth-watering moments at Moro, to the fabulous festive foraged cocktail at The Botanist Bar, the choice at Taste was endless. You could have been getting expert tips from DJ BBQ one minute, then next thing you’re sampling 3,000 cheeses spanning 29 countries...what’s not to love right!?

For us, we were in our element!

But we weren’t just at the festival to eat. We were also there working with The Spice Tailor, promoting their delicious range of authentic Indian sauces and Daal kits with founder and TV Chef Anjum Anand. Festival goers were treated to samples of The Spice Tailors’ Original Tikka Masala and Classic Tarka Daal kits, which went down a storm. So much so that by the end of the show, The Spice Tailor stand was a sell-out!

A must for every foodie, we are very much looking forward to next year’s event!
