Q. Introduce yourself in one sentence

Fan of running and food-based reality TV shows, who can’t say no to coffee or nut bars.

Q. How long have you been at Ceres? What’s your role?

I’ve been at Ceres now for 3 years - the time has flown by! I’m an Account Director and lucky enough to lead on a number of food and wellbeing accounts including California Walnuts, Love Your Gut, Discover Great Veg, Puratos, Doves Farm and Eva’s Friends.

Q. How did you get into PR? What made you want to choose it as a career? 

After studying English at university, I decided I wanted a job where I could talk to people and write and which would offer something new every day. After completing an internship in the fast-paced world of PR I decided it was definitely the career for me and the rest is history!

Q. What’s your favourite part of the job? 

Nothing beats getting a piece of coverage which both you and the client could not be happier with, but I also love the fact that there always seems to be a steady stream of sweet treats in the Ceres office!

Q. What’s a stand out piece of coverage/content you have been a part of that you’re proud of? 

The full page feature in the Daily Telegraph I secured for our client Doves Farm about ancient grains was not only a great piece, but being able to attend the day the journalist spent at Doves Farm was so interesting and provided me with invaluable knowledge. Securing a full-page case study feature in the Daily Mail for our client Love Your Gut Week was another brilliant moment!

Q. What’s been your best Ceres moment?  

Making pasta (or attempting to do so!) at the 2018 Christmas party was hilarious, as mine was easily the worst looking of the bunch, but thankfully the end result was delicious!

Q. If you could work with any brand in the world, who would it be and why?

I have two! Sweaty Betty, for their great design, brand story and values (and super comfy leggings!) and Quorn, because of their great tasting and innovative product range and environmental efforts.

Q. What’s your favourite dish?  

I’m going to have to go for veggie Bolognese made with Quorn, with lots of cheese. Yum!

Q. If you were stranded on a desert island, what would be the one item you’d take? 

I think I’d take a classic novel I wouldn’t mind re-reading a few times. Perhaps To Kill a Mockingbird or Catcher in the Rye!
