A new and free Wholegrain Goodness recipe booklet is packed full of simple, tasty dishes for the whole family. Recipes include two deliciously different ways to start the day, the Triple Breakfast Stack and Cocoa and Vanilla Smoothie, each containing up to three servings of wholegrain. Or for something really easy but tasty too, try the Spaghetti Fish Supper and for pudding Apple Brown Betty, a modern twist on a family favourite. For those watching their weight a slice of Fat Free Fruit Loaf is light in calories but full of flavour and contains one serving of wholegrain.

Experts agree that eating more wholegrain foods can be good for the whole family. Studies* show that eating three 16g servings of wholegrain a day has many health benefits, including maintaining a healthy heart and digestive system.  It can also help with weight management as the high fibre content can keep you feeling fuller for longer, helping to stop snacking between meals.

The Wholegrain Goodness recipe booklet** is bursting with new recipes, tempting photography, and tips and hints on easy ways to enjoy wholegrains in the diet. So finding your three a day has never been easier! FREE copies can be obtained by calling 0845 245 0009 and quoting WG0910.

The survey revealed that one third of adults failed to consume any wholegrain foods on a daily basis and less than 5% consumed the recommended 3 or more servings per day
  • The Wholegrain Goodness Campaign is run on behalf of HGCA
  • HGCA aims to improve the production and marketing of UK grain.
