Eleven years on and Farmhouse Breakfast Week 2010 was still hitting the headlines throughout January, encouraging everyone to benefit from breakfast. • Over 1,700 events took place across the country at farmers' markets, schools, cafes, B&B's and hotels
  • During January, www.farmhousebreakfast.com received 60,000 webhits, a 50% increase on last year
  • An online video featuring Antony Worrall Thompson was placed on 39 key news and community websites with a combined reach of over 16 million
  • Social media kept everyone up to date with campaign activity. Twitter reached approximately half a million people through 'tweets' about events and news stories
  • From BBC Radio 2's Chris Evans and GMTV, to the Daily Mail and the Metro, there were numerous opportunities to see, hear and read about the benefits of breakfast, nationally and regionally.

HGCA Head of Marketing Roz Reynolds thanked everyone involved in making Farmhouse Breakfast Week 2010 such a success, she said: "It is clear that many supporters have looked for new and innovative ways to get involved with Farmhouse Breakfast Week this year, with imaginative event ideas helping to keep the campaign fresh and effective.  The number of events held by individuals and third parties has continued to rise, and once again exceeded our expectations."
